Top 4 Strikers From The Big four (EPL Era): Featuring Manchester United And Arsenal Stars

3. Robbie Fowler

While many Liverpool fans would think that the best striker they might have seen during the Premier League years was Luis Suarez or Fernando Torres, truth be told, the legend that is Robbie Fowler can never be underestimated.

Still remembered and called by most Liverpool fans as ‘God’, Fowler was a proper striker in terms of having the ability to score with both his feet and his head. The talismanic striker scored 183 goals for Liverpool in 369 games and was part of the team that won the treble in 2001.

Unfortunately for him, the rise of the partnership between Emile Heskey and Michael Owen spelled the end of his career at Liverpool as he was shuttled out to Leeds United and then Manchester City, he did also have a return to Liverpool later on in 2006 but the love between him and the Liverpool fans is as strong as ever.
