According to a report from The Daily Express, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has weighed in on selling outcast Adam Lallana, as he doesn’t see him as a viable addition for the future.
The 31-year-old has clearly fallen down the pecking order and has a contract with the Reds until the end of next season.
The English midfielder opted to move to Anfield in 2014 after spending half of his career with Southampton.
Though he exceeded expectations at the beginning of his career, showing his versatility by playing on several positions up in front, Lallana witnessed a significant decline due to countless injuries.
To be precise, the English midfielder garnered a total of 21 goals and 19 assists, including the English Player of the Year award in 2016.
The contrast could be clearly seen, however, in the following seasons as he went AWOL due to a long-term hamstring injury.
It further carried to the 2018/19 campaign, where he ultimately fell down the pecking order of the German manager.
As of now, the Reds are overflowing with quality and a strong bunch of players who recently tasted Champions League glory the last term.
Primarily an attacking midfielder, Lallana can play either on the wings or as a central midfielder. While all the aforementioned positions are currently unbreachable due to the presence of in-form stars, Lallana is completely hapless at the moment.
With that being said, the Reds should stop hanging around Lallana and instead, they should be looking to get rid of him sooner rather than later.

In addition, given that Klopp is looking to resurrect a fight for the Premier League title, he needs to be carrying a more balanced squad. Fighting for a spot in the playing 11 looks quite difficult for Lallana now.
Having already offloaded Alberto Moreno to La Liga outfit Villareal, the Reds must be stern on other outcasts like Lallana ahead of next season.
