He started his career in the defence but has since been moved to the midfield, producing astonishing results. He has also played for England at different levels and the next season must be one of the most vital for the player who has made his debut for the club in the match against Anzhi in the Europa League.

He is not a much unknown figure among the fans for he has already made 47 league appearances for the Merseyside club. The 21 year old has already drawn applause from many quarters with his performance and although he has been a bit inconsistent this season, the next year will prove to be a landmark for the England international’s career in many ways.
