Three U-21 Players Who Tottenham Can Target This Summer

Mauricio Pochettino has nurtured one of the most consistent teams in the Premier League in the last couple of seasons and has his Tottenham Hotspur side challenging for a place in the Champions League regularly. They will look to go all the way and push for the title once again, in the upcoming campaign, but will have to improve their first team this summer.

The manager is looking to bring in some of the finest talents in world football to the club this summer but he will also know that it is important to increase the depth and add some quality youngsters to the squad to build the right foundation for the future. So here are three such U21 stars that Tottenham Hotspur should target for their side this summer.

Emre Mor (Borussia Dortmund)

The Turkish sensation moved to the Signal Iduna Park just last summer was not able to impress Thomas Tuchel and is not expected to play any role at the club next season. He is up for grabs this summer but Dortmund are ready to offer him on loan with an option to buy next summer and Spurs should certainly look at him to solve the problems of lack of depth in the attack for the next season.

Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham)

Though it was reported that Tottenham were close to signing the 17-year old left-back from Fulham, a deal is yet to materialise and Pochettino should not waste any time in signing him up this summer. Arguably one of the most exciting players on show in England at his age, Sessegnon certainly belongs to the top flight and Spurs should not waste any time in signing him up this summer.

Moussa Dembele (Celtic)

The Spurs have a flourishing attack but have little backup to their star-studded lineup and Pochettino should look at this French sensation as an option this summer. Valued at £30m, he is the most expensive but the most established player in this list and his addition might help Spurs take the next step forward. Harry Kane needs an able backup and Dembele, who was in terrific form last season, is just the right man the Spurs have been waiting for. So surely, Pochettino should spend on this Celtic man and add him to Tottenham’s attack this summer.
