Three Reasons Why Klopp Should Replace Wenger As Arsenal Manager

This may not really happen as Wenger seems to have infinite backing & support from Arsenal board and still half of the Arsenal fans idolize him. But there are plenty of reasons to believe that Jurgen Klopp is the right man to replace le professor when he leaves.

Similar Philosophy

Klopp shares somewhat similar footballing philosophy with Arsene Wenger. Like Wenger, Klopp is known for polishing raw talents into superstars. Recent examples are Robert Lewandowski and Shinji Kagawa -both were bought for a combined fee of 5 million pounds and now they are super stars.

Both the managers believes in youth policies. Mario Gotze, Nuri Sahin and Ilkay Gundogan are the recent gems who came up from their youth academy at BVB. Even though Klopp may not be as good as Wenger when it comes to making profits, economics and finance, still he is one of main man who turned Borussia Dortmund from a debt-ridden club into a stable financial model.

Flurry of German Players

We all know how Wenger loves to sign players from France. But it looks like days of Zidanes and Henrys are over for France. It’s time for Arsenal to change the hunting ground. With Lukas Podolski, Per Mertesacker and Thomas Eisfield already playing in red and white colors, this is probably the right time for Klopp to become Arsenal manager. German revolution is already began in world football but will Arsenal take advantage of this revolution is the big question to answer.

Counter Attacking Football

“No body quite breaks like Arsenal” Heard this commentary before? Arsenal were once the best counter attacking side in the world. But after 2005/06, they started playing bit fast tika taka style which is beautiful to watch but not as effective as what Wenger thought it would be. Klopp’s high tempo play and swift counter attacking tactics will be perfect with fast players like Theo Walcott, Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain and Kieran Gibbs.

I am not saying Wenger should leave Arsenal. I am just pointing out that if Arsenal board wants to replace Wenger someday or Wenger leaving by his own wish, then they should look no further than the present Dortmund manager.
