Three Realistic Targets Who Can Change The Tide For Arsenal FC

Arsenal have already made a number of enquiries about certain players in the transfer market as they look to reshape their team. Although no concrete talks have yet occurred, the club is confident to pull off some big money transfers without much delay. Out of many a positions on the field, what they need most urgently is a striker and media reports claim that they have already held talks with some of the forwards. Here is a look at three of the primary Arsenal target and what chances do they have to join the club.

Ilkay Gundogan

With their interest in Fellaini, it was established that the club was looking to add one quality central midfielder in their ranks. While it may be a difficult job to bring Fellaini to the Emirates considering interests from Manchester United and Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund star Gundogan would be one class addition to the side. He has been in tremendous form for the German club this season and Arsenal would hope that he would replicate his form in England as well. But the competition to sign Gundogan is not easy either and Arsenal would have to pull a miracle to capture him.

Real Madrid, Benzema, Higuain, Ronaldo
Higuain to Arsenal?

Gonzalo Higuain

Wenger is determined to sign one world class striker and Gonzalo Higuain is a perfect choice for the club. The Real Madrid star has unquestionable talent but wants to leave Madrid for lack of playing time. Juventus are also vying for the signature of the Argentinian and it seems to be a bidding war between the two clubs. If Arsenal can pull this off, it would mean a huge boost for their team and their entire post RVP striker problem would be solved.

Lars Bender

This past season Arsenal have really lacked a solid defensive midfielder and more often than not they showed a big gap between the midfield and the strike force. With Bars Lender in the team this problem can get solved and players like Jack Wilshere will have more freedom to move into the attacking area. The Bayer Leverkusen man can be purchased for £15m and he would certainly go onto to boost the overall strength of the team.
