Manager Brendan Rodgers knows this fact and thus he brought in a replacement in the form of Javier Manquillo on loan from Atletico Madrid with an option to sign him on a permanent basis. We were surprised when Liverpool did not take the initiative to sell him at the start of this season, but it would be a blunder of he kept in the club beyond the next season. Johnson should be on his way of the club before the start of the next season and Liverpool should be looking to make the slightest of profits from him.
