Three Partnerships That Could Set The Premier League On Fire Including Chelsea & Arsenal Pairs

Three Best Partnerships in the league as of now:

We are already 4 matches into the new season of English football and we’ve seen some amazing football being played by some of the best teams on show. There have been particularly eye-catching moments in these early matches that raise hopes of a great season for their respective teams. There are some special players who have formed a great bond between each other and are linking up excellently on the pitch.

We consider those players in this article. Last season, we saw SAS partnership in Liverpool where Suarez and Sturridge created havoc for opposition defences. Which are the partnerships we can look forward to in this season and expect them to blossom? Here is our list.

Cesc Fabregas- Diego Costa (Chelsea)

Chelsea Fabregas Costa

Well, this is a no brainer. They both have made a huge difference to this Chelsea side and have contributed heavily to the early season success for the Blues. Fabregas, who was written off by Barcelona has risen to be the key man for Chelsea with 6 assists already and is bossing the midfield, as if he was never meant to leave the Premier League. Costa, on the other hand, has been brilliant as he seems to enjoy the extra bit of physicality in this league and the freedom he has to bully the opposition defenders. His aggression and passion is well appreciated in England and he’s rather treated as God by Chelsea fans who have missed such a striker since Drogba’s departure. He’s performing better than the expectations which fans as well as critics had of him as he leads the scoring charts with an astonishing 7 goals in 4 games.

David Silva- Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

Aguero

Manchester City’s star men David Silva and Sergio Aguero have really been in good form in the beginning of the season. Both have had that mouthwatering link-up play that reminds us that they are the Champions despite their poor run of results. Aguero loves playing in front of Silva, because he knows there is going to be a pass heading his way which he can control and play a nice one-two and set someone up or score a goal himself.

Aguero also likes to make runs in behind the defence, and Silva, has divine vision to spot him accurately. With Manchester City playing with a 5 man midfield, Aguero is enjoying the lone striker’s role with panache. Silva’s influence as the central attacking midfielder makes a huge difference to this. To be honest, this partnership has been one of the most consistent ones in the league.

Aaron Ramsey- Jack Wilshere (Arsenal)

Is Ramsey finally arriving at a good place in his career ?

Well, it was one game where we really saw the two Arsenal midfielders link up and play some amazing football, and it was against the champions Manchester City. In one of the hardest games of the season, Jack Wilshere did step up to prove his critics wrong. Wilshere has been at the end of a lot of criticism for having his career stalled or not being focused enough, but performances such as the other day are timely reminders of his talent and the ability which he can develop into being one of the best in the league and for England.

Ramsey found a really able partner against Manchester City in Wilshere who was on a different level altogether. If Wilshere maintains his form, he along with consistent Ramsey can build one of the most dangerous midfield partnerships in the league.
