Three Games That Could Decide The Title – Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool All Involved

With the Premier League down to it’s business end, the title is still anyone’s to win and realistically Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool are all in with a decent shout. While Chelsea seems to be in the best position of strength, being seven points ahead of fellow rivals Arsenal and Liverpool, it must be remembered that both of them have a game in hand and perhaps more importantly are still to face the Blues one more time in the Premier League. Even Manchester City, while being nine points behind the leaders, have three games in hand and could mathematically have been top instead of Chelsea had they played the same number of matches. With all four of the teams going great guns against the lower tier teams, it will be the so called ‘big matches’ which will determine the Premier League title race. Let us have a look at the three matches which will potentially decide the destiny of which team lifts the Premier League trophy.

1. Chelsea Vs Arsenal:

Chelsea
Chelsea

This is one match which is being long awaited by not only the Arsenal and the Chelsea fans but by the Premier League faithful at large. Leaving aside the war of words instigated by Jose Mourinho where the Special One taunted Arsene Wenger by calling him ‘a speciality in failure’ which so agitated the Arsenal fans, this London derby will go a long way in determining the fate of the Premier League. With Arsenal to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge at the end of this month , this match promises to be an exploding one with all the ingredients ready. While Jose Mourinho has never lost against Arsene Wenger and are also playing at home, the 5-3 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge will be all too fresh in the mind of the Arsenal fans. With Arsenal likely to welcome back Aaron Ramsey  in that match , it will be an interesting to watch how Arsenal counter the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian etc who have been blitzing away teams at home all season long.
