Things just keep getting worse for Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, as the Blues were beaten by West Ham in the Premier League at the weekend and later knocked out of the Capital One Cup by Stoke City on Tuesday night. It seems now that the Portuguese manager could be on the verge of being sacked if his side fails to perform in the game at Stamford Bridge against Liverpool at the weekend.
The west London side are currently placed at 15th spot in the points table and need to turn things around soon if they wish to challenge for a Champions League spot for next season.
Though there are speculations that the Portuguese manager might be set to leave the club soon, for some odd reason the fans have turned to former Kop boss Brendan Rodgers as a possible candidate to take up his job.
The Northern Irishman did not have the best start to the new campaign at Anfield and was shown the door some time ago, before the club hired Jurgen Klopp.
However, the fans now used Twitter to express what they think about the possibility of Rodgers being at Chelsea, as some of the Tweets are shown below:
