The New ‘Slap On The Wrist’ For Mario Balotelli

It had to come, isn’t? Mario Balotelli received his first reprimand in Serie A. His stay with AC Milan had become a time of peace and tranquility in which the word “maturity” can only be used to describe his actions so far. However the Italian striker could not help doing something wrong again and ends up getting a warning from his new club.

The Italian international striker was discovered smoking in the toilets of the train, before the game in which AC Milan drew with Fiorentina (and where Balotelli failed to score). Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani, was responsible for reprimanding Italian attacker behavior.

“I have to pull Balotelli’s ears,” Galliani said after discussing the situation, although he would not go far into the subject. In turn, asked M’Baye Niang to help Mario to stop his bad habits. “Niang, thou good boy tell your friend that you are paying a fine,” said Galliani.

The AC Milan regulation explicitly states that smoking is prohibited within and outside the team, and that’s why his love of cigarettes could bring more problems for Mario Balotelli. Actually that was one of the factors that brought many problems with Roberto Mancini at Manchester City.

Balotelli should try and quit smoking soon to continue with his stability at AC Milan. Though probably not the footballer smoking, Mario should endeavor not to cause problems in his new home.
