The Chelsea man has been inspirational at times and has gone head to head with legendary custodians Iker Casillas and Gianluigi Buffon for the title of the best of his generation, no other Premier League goalkeeper has came close since Jens Lehmann’s time at Arsenal. The Czech Republic international is the reason why Chelsea won the Champions League in 2012, and although the Blues did it in the ugliest of manners, it will be a nice thought that the former Sparta Prague man was a champion of Europe at least once, he deserves it.
