Juventus reached agreement with Manchester City to sign their striker Carlos Tevez. Reported transfer fee is around £13.5million with £9 million initial payment and the rest later. This will come as a great surprise for Juventus fans as they were expecting Higuain or Jovetic to arrive in the Summer.
Juventus already have a balanced side, but they lack some direct attacking talents in their squad to make them formidable in Europe. In Tevez, they have added a considerable amount of threat to their attacking front. Watch out for the Old Lady next season!
This deal also means that their long term target Gonzolo Higuain’s move to Arsenal is just a matter of time before the official announcement. Sources believe Higuain agreed a four year contract with the gunners with a weekly salary more than £100, 000. Total worth of the deal is close to £50million (transfer fee + total salary).
