Leicester City Player Ratings vs Watford: Here’s how the Foxes fared

Leicester City picked up an important 2-0 victory against Watford in the Premier League. Jamie Vardy opened the scoring for the Foxes in the 12th minute with his second penalty in as many games. James Maddison then doubled Leicester’s lead to hand them a cushion.

The Foxes were resilient at the back and did their best to hold onto the clean sheet. Etienne Capoue then saw red in the 90th minute as well to end the game in controversial fashion.

The Dane had a few nervy moments but Watford’s poor finishing worked in his favour.

Isaac Success caused a few problems for Evans but he eventually came through on the night.

His distribution was very poor on the night as Ndidi had an off-game.

Worked tirelessly on the night and defended very well. Mendy was one of the best players on the night.

Picked up the assist for Maddison’s goal with a splendid assist and always looked very positive going forward.

Scored a wonderful goal after a couple of mediocre performances. He really is proving to be a massive asset for the Foxes this season.

He looked very lively on the night and was unlucky not to see one of his efforts hit the back of the net.

Won the penalty and did his job in converting it from the spot. He always looked dangerous on the night.
