Thanks to a run of easy fixtures combined with the block buster clashes at the top of the table, Manchester United are just 6 points behind a top 4 spot after having started the season in the most horrible way. United are keen to build on their four match unbeaten run in all competitions and would be desperate to close the gap at the top of the table, the difference which currently lies at eight points. Hull City lies twelfth on the table four places below the Red Devil and Steve Bruce would love to topple the very team he used to play once as a player and remains a familiar figure. His Hull City side come into the game at the back of an encouraging 1-1 draw against West Brom at the Hawthorns and much like they shocked Liverpool, the home side would love to add another big scalp in their kitty.
