Strongest Chelsea Lineup To Face NY Red Bulls: The New Signings To Start

Chelsea Predicted Lineup

Chelsea are all set to start their pre-season with participation in the International Champions Cup in the USA. The tournament also features PSG, NY Red Bulls. Barcelona and Fiorentina, amongst others. The tournament would be perfect for the Blues to get back to Premier League fitness and we expect a strong Chelsea team for the first game against the NY Red Bulls. With the league less than a month away, we predict the starting line-up for the Chelsea team in this game.

Falcao To Start
Falcao To Start

Asmir Begovic

The new signing from Stoke City should get a bit of a run out in his new team. Begovic would be looking to show just why he is considered as one of the best goalkeepers in the World and that would mean great competition for Courtois.

Branislav Ivanovic

The best right-back in the Premier League should start this game and put a marker down for anyone else thinking about taking his place in the team.

Kurt Zouma

The young defender should get a chance to show what he is capable of doing, Zouma did impress a lot last season and now should try to cement a place in the starting XI or at least give a few headaches to the other defenders.

John Terry

The leader of the team has to start the game though he could be replaced sometime later in the game by Nathan Ake.

Filipe Luis

This could be Luis’ last game or tournament for Chelsea, he is set to leave the club after just one season and he would be looking to leave on a high, or at least show what he can do on the pitch.

Cesc Fabregas

Can anyone imagine a Chelsea team without Fabregas pulling the strings? The Spaniard is a sure shot to start the game and will be looking to pick up where he left from last season.

Ramires

This could be one of the last games for Ramires also in the blue of Chelsea. The Brazilian should be looking to doing well for the club and who knows, he might remain after the transfer window as well.

Oscar

Oscar has a bit of an average season last time around and he needs to show what he can do for the club, this would be a great chance to showcase his skills.

Juan Cuadrado

The big money man has not provided a lot to Chelsea, but this could be his chance, after a tough Copa America, a full pre-season with Chelsea could work in Cuadrado’s favour. He will be looking to make this chance count.

Eden Hazard

Hazard would be biting at the chance to have a go in a proper game. The player of the year last time around will be hoping to do better and fire Chelsea to more glory this season.

Radamel Falcao

Another new signing should get a start for Chelsea, the first game of the competition would be perfect for Falcao to check out his fitness and how well he links up with the other players in the team. We do think he will be replaced at the end of the first half though.
