Simply Not Good Enough: 3 Tottenham Players Who Should Step Up Ahead Of The West Ham Game

Erik Lamela

The Argentinian forward is one of the most talented left footed guys in Europe, as he’s shown since his River Plate days with his amazing crosses, dribbling and outstanding shots from short and long range.

However, he’s been pretty inconsistent for most of the season, and he’s been having better games when he comes off the bench instead of whenever he starts. Lamela needs to find his groove back, as he could be one of the most effective substitutes in the league, and Tottenham needs some offensive options off the bench considering how long this season is and how difficult it seems for them to break opposing defenses at times.

Moussa Sissoko

This French midfielder was one of the biggest surprises of the France national team during the past Euros, as he was in total command of the center of the pitch during most of the games and was a total lock down on defense.

Those great performances made him flee from Newcastle United, but that great level hasn’t translated to what’s expected from him at Mauricio Pochettino’s team, and he better start to demonstrate what he’s capable of if he doesn’t want to lose his spot in the starting berth.
