Sign These Serie A Stars Poch!

Tottenham Hotspur are currently one of the in-form sides in the Premier League and are the biggest threat to Chelsea for the Premier League title this season. Mauricio Pochettino will be relatively pleased with the way his team has performed in recent times but he would surely be looking to improve the squad to try and go all the way for the champion’s medal next season. The manager has been looking at players from all around Europe but there are a number of players currently playing in Italy who can turn out to be superstars in Pochettino’s system at White Hart Lane. The manager is sure to spend big if needed and he will only target stars that fit his requirement. So here are two such players from the Serie A who Pochettino should target this summer.

Suso (AC Milan)

The former Liverpool man is fast growing into one of the most exciting prospects in Italy, at San Siro. He ended his loan spell at Genoa at the start of the season and has since been a regular in the first team for AC Milan this season. He has 6 goals and 7 assists in 27 Serie A games this season and is a player who is improving his game rapidly. He is contracted with the club till 2019 so will be available on the cheap and he could solve a couple of problems at White Hart Lane. The likes of Moussa Sissoko and Kevin N’Koudou have not been able to perform in the wings for Tottenham this season and Pochettino might be searching for wingers who can add depth and quality to the squad. Suso, with his previous experience in England, could be the best option in this position for Spurs.

Suso is a Tottenham target.

Mario Mandzukic (Juventus)

The Croatian international is in contract with the Italian champions until 2019 but at 30, Juventus might be willing to let him go this summer. Having previously played for Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich, Mandzukic is a top class player who is still in good form. He has 7 goals and 5 assists to his name this season and has made 27 appearances in the Serie A this season. He is still at the top of his game and could be the perfect backup for Harry Kane at Tottenham. With Vincent Janssen failing to show any promise, Pochettino might spend on a striker this summer and there are very few options better than Mandzukic in the market for Spurs this summer.
