Should Moyes Sell Nani And Valencia And Look For Replacements?

The verdict

Valencia
Valencia

The United transfer committee may have taken the right decision with respect to both Nani and Valencia. Nani has been ravaged by injuries and has made few appearances in the last season and half, failing to justify his fat paycheck. His final delivery has been lacking far too often, as has been his decision making at crucial junctures in big games.  Valencia on the other hand has been a steady player down the right hand side, and has also filled in at right back when required. While deliveries have not been up to the mark all the time, he still beats the full back often enough to create chances down the right.

The emergence of Januzaj has papered over some of the cracks exposed by Nani’s poor form and extended spells on the sidelines due to injuries, and it’s about time he’s moved on and gives a chance to the likes of Januzaj and Zaha to perform. Valencia still has a role at the club, United should look to tie him down as soon as possible.
