Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho has been linked with a move to the Old Trafford as a replacement for current boss Louis Van Gaal since some time now. While the Dutch manager is yet to leave the Old Trafford, United’s defeat at the White Hart Lane may just act as a nail in the coffin for the Dutchman.
Louis Van Gaal has been given an ultimatum of sorts wherein he will be keeping his position if he manages to take United to the top four in the Premier League title.
United’s defeat against the Spurs has in some ways initiated the Dutchman’s move from the Old Trafford. While Jose Mourinho is the favourite to replace Louis Van Gaal as United’s next manager, there have been much news circulating regarding the same.
Earlier reports suggested that Mourinho himself has stated in a contract with United that he will start working with the club at the start of the next season, however, the same was refuted by Mourinho himself, wherein he stated that he has not yet signed any contract with United.
So far there have been many news and as many rumors regarding the same only time will tell who is set to be the next United boss.
