Manchester United striker Will Keane is to have a surgery in the US for the groin injury suffered during the FA cup win over Shrewsbury Town last month.
Keane came in as a substitute during the match but was not able to complete the game as he suffered the injury shortly after entering the field while stretching to strike the ball at a goal.
Louis Van Gaal confirmed last week that the striker will be going under the knife to deal with the problem. The 23-year-old was in good spirits while arriving at USA on Wednesday.
Manchester United are now concentrating on their next premier league game against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns on Sunday. United have limited options in strikers for the game with just Martial and Rashford in good form while Rooney is sidelined with a knee injury.
