Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is all set to reinstate Spanish international David De Gea as his No.1 keeper, as per recent reports. The Spanish international will have clear and proper talks with the Dutch manager at the Reds Devils’ training ground on Wednesday. This will be the first actual time that the two will talk since the collapse of his deadline-day move to former European champions Real Madrid.
Further, the club insiders insist that Van Gaal will make De Gea as his first-choice again, as the Premier League side are ready to return home to face fierce rivals Liverpool on Saturday evening. The Dutchman banished De Gea from the first team, till the time his future remained unresolved, which has seen Argentine international Sergio Romero take his place for all six of United’s games this season.
However, with all the controversy and the Spanish goalie finally remaining at Old Trafford, the 24-year-old superstar is all set to be recalled to the first team now. De Gea continued to be professional and train with the squad, though Van Gaal chose not to play him and now his first appearance could be against the Reds on Saturday.
