Manchester City’s new boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly interested in signing Liverpool star Roberto Firmino. The claim was made by Emanuele Giuilianelli on TribalFootball.com.
The news goes on to say that Guardiola is well familiar with Firmino from his time at Bayern Munich when the player used to play for Hoffenheim. Pep Guardiola is apparently looking to strengthen the Manchester City wings and have identified Raheem Sterling as the weak link. The report further adds that Carlo Ancelotti is interested to sign Sterling for Bayern Munich.
Recently Raheem Sterling has come under scrutiny for his unimpressive performance at Euro 2016. One of the fans even put up a website to ask for donation to buy him a return ticket home. We do not reckon that Pep shares the same emotion but if he does then arrival of Roberto Firmino at Manchester City will end the spell of Raheem Sterling.
