Well, transfer news can be a lie and also can be true, but rumor mongers will surely create something that is not even considered to be close to the truth. One such news is that of Liverpool chasing Arsenal man Theo Walcott for the next season.
According to a report by FootballerInsider, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is looking to bring in Theo Walcott to the Reds next season. The report claims that Walcott himself has expressed his interest in joining Liverpool in a £50m deal. They further go on to claim that the Merseysider are deciding on a £25m bid for the player, with an addition of £120,000-a-week deal so as to lure him to the Anfield.
The report further states that the Reds will be offering a four year deal for the player worth £25m, which will put him on par with the top earners at the club. In addition Wenger is not willing to listen to any offers under £25m for Walcott (hence creating his own buyout clause, while the Reds are willing to pay any amount for the player).
