Liverpool are looking out for Cologne Goalkeeper Timo Horn, according to the German publication Bild. Reports suggest that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp sent his chief scout Dave Fallows to watch the player in action during a match against Augsburg.
Although the player is just 22 year old and may lack experience, he sure does have the talent needed. In addition to the fact that he impressed the scouts watching him during the match against Augsburg by keeping a clean sheet, he has a release clause that may be a bargain price for the Reds. The player’s release clause includes an amount of €9million that will be less than £7m.
Although Liverpool did offer Simon Mignolet a new contract earlier this season the Belgian’s dismal and indifferent performances has only resulted into Liverpool losing more points.
The 22 year old player has been playing on first team football since he was 19, thus he may be young, but he has a real talent that Klopp will have to look out for.
