The last time Manchester United signed a player from Monaco, the result has been very good. While everyone first asked who exactly was Anthony Martial, he soon became one of the fan favorites as the season progressed.
According to Metro, Manchester United are interested in another Monaco youngster this season. Tiemoue Bakayoko, 21 year old, has fallen out of favor with their current manager Leonardo Jardim and United are said to be interested to swoop for him. United are yet to sign a central midfielder this summer and while Paul Pogba’s name is doing the rounds in media, the club is also most likely considering back up options.
Bakayoko is also said to be a person of interest for Southampton and Stoke City but if Manchester United makes a formal approach for him, then the Red Devils will most likely get him. The only question – What are the chances of another Monaco youngster shining at Old Trafford like Martial?
