Shocking! Fans Appeal To Wenger To Bring Ex-Arsenal Captain Back To The Emirates

Robin Van Persie is set to return to Premier League this summer and his current club Fenerbahce has put him up for sale.

He signed a four year deal with the Turkish club when he moved from United to Fenerbahce. However he is said to be frustrated with being substituted regularly by the manager Vitor Pereira. While a return to Premier League is the most likely possibility, West Ham United and Crystal Palace has been linked with a move for him. Hearing that Arsenal fans have already appealed to Arsene Wenger to sign back their old captain.

Van Persie spent 8 years at Arsenal and in that time he has made 277 appearances and scored 132 goals. As Arsenal have missed out on Jamie Vardy in their search for a good striker, fans have taken to twitter to urge Wenger to sign him back. Even at the age of 32 and despite lack of full 90 minutes he has played 45 games for Fenerbahce and scored 20 goals.
