New Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte will rebuild the squad to his liking and given few players will definitely leave the English capital in this transfer window. One of them looks very likely now is Diego Costa.
According to Daily Star, the player is set for £40 million exit from Stamford Bridge and will move back to his previous club Atletico Madrid. The Spain international joined Chelsea in 2014 after a successful campaign in La Liga. Immediately after joining Chelsea the Blues won the Premier League title but last season Costa has failed to live up to the expectations, that was generated from the show he put on in his first season. Nonetheless, now with Chelsea out of Champions League football next season and new manager’s reshuffle, the player is keen to move out of Stamford Bridge as well.
Atletico Madrid are also interested in the player’s services as Diego Simeone is keen to add some more quality to his squad.
