Shocking! Chelsea Star Claims Victor Valdes Said This To Him About Manchester United

Pedro Chelsea debut

Chelsea’s summer signing and former Barcelona forward Pedro has denied speculations suggesting that his former team-mate Victor Valdes warned him against joining Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United side this summer. The World Cup winning Spaniard was expected to join the Red Devils, after he decided to end his stay at the Camp Nou.

However, the 28 year old superstar opted to join the Blues instead, after it became clear that Jose Mourinho was more keen in securing his services.

Rumours suggested that Pedro decided to join the west London side over the Manchester based side, following a chat with Valdes, who does not have the best relation with Louis van Gaal.

Speaking recently about these speculations to ESPN, the superstar forward said, “Absolutely not. He spoke very well of the club. It’s a great club but I believe I have chosen well to join Chelsea, I’m convinced.”

“I had an important chat with [Chelsea coach Jose] Mourinho, who told me that he wanted me, that with me they would have a better team and he said many things that I liked to hear.”

“That combined with the possibility to live in London was what made me decide.”
