Shocking! Chelsea Have Spoken To This Ballon d’Or Winner’s Father Over Potential Move

Chelsea owner Roman Abrmovich has reportedly spoken to Lionel Messi’s father regarding a possible transfer according to the Sun.

The Argentine has been sentenced to a 21 months prison even though he is unlikely to serve the time. Barcelona has immediately jumped to the defense of their star and has also issued a statement but the Messi family feels that the club could have done more in order to support their greatest player ever.

The report from Sun has revealed that the player and his family is disappointed with the verdict from the court and may look to move away from Barcelona. Roman Abramovich seemed to have taken this opportunity and invited Jorge Messi, Lionel’s father to his yacht, the Eclipse. Both Messi and his father has been convicted and between them they will have to pay a fine of £3 million to the Spanish authorities.

Should Messi decide to leave Barcelona, Chelsea will be waiting to welcome him.
