Arsenal are looking to sign a defender and every club with a defender to sell seem to be ready to utilize this opportunity to extract money from one of the richest clubs in the Premier League.
With the chase of Shkodran Mustafi going nowhere, the Gunners have been looking at other options and one of them have been ex-Manchester United player, Johnny Evans. The player moved to West Bromwich Albion under Louis Van Gaal and now is wanted by Arsenal. However, The Independent has reported that West Brom will demand £25 million for the player.
This is a shocking development because Evans is already 28 years old and was purchased for £6 million from Manchester United. A clear sign that either West Brom are not willing to sell him or even if they do, they want to make as much profit as possible. Wenger was right, there seems to be a different market for English teams after all.
