Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is still interested in signing Bundesliga star Julian Draxler as per reports from Metro. According the publication the Gunners are still interested in Draxler even though many expected that the interest had fizzled out long time ago.
Wenger tried to sign Draxler last summer but the player chose to join Wolfsburg instead. However Wenger may still attempt a swoop for the player once the Euro 2016 concludes. Arsenal has recently signed the likes of Granit Xhaka and has triggered the release clause of Jamie Vardy. These moves have cheered the fans and the market alike and expectations are that Wenger may be back for Draxler after a year now that it looks like Gunners are building a team capable of winning the title.
In a recent interview Wenger was all praise for Draxler and Sane and has also mentioned that the player is young and will be able to contribute to the club in the long run.
