Shock Of The Season: Chelsea Plot Bid For Former Manchester United And West Ham Striker

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is shaking up the Chelsea team that finished 10th last season. In this shake-up is he going for the right targets?

Well according to Daily Star, the new boss is keen to sign Boca Juniors striker Carlos Tevez. The 32-year old has earlier played for Manchester United and Manchester City in the Premier League and is well versed with the style of play in England. He has also played under Antonio Conte when the two were at Juventus.

Chelsea were interested in signing Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid but the negotiations are not heading in any particular direction. Naturally, the Italian manager is keen to conclude transfer business quickly so that the new signings can train with the existing team. Nonetheless, the interest in Tevez is a shock to many as the player seems to be past his prime but Chelsea are reportedly willing to offer Tevez a one  year deal.
