Thibaut Courtois may be the one sacrificed by the Blues this summer as the Belgian goalkeeper prepares to leave the Stamford Bridge.
According to reports, incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is not impressed by the goalkeeper’s attitude and thus has decided to let him go rather than the goal keeping coach Christophe Lollichon, with whom the player’s relationship had soured since some time now. However, Courtois is happy leaving the Blues considering the fact that Chelsea is not featuring in Europe next season.
Reports suggest that Real Madrid has been keeping close tabs on the situation at Chelsea and may be the potential destination for the player in the summer if they meet Chelsea’s demand for the 23 year old goalkeeper. The Blues have valued the player at £65m, so as to complete the deal.
The Blues have added a heavy premium to the player’s rate considering him to be one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
