Corriere della Serra had mentioned on Monday that AC Milan are interested in bringing Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini on loan in January. One thing the publication missed is if any of the clubs had agreed or shown interest in the deal.
It was later reported on Tuesday that the player has expressed interest in moving to the Italian club in order to get more game time. He wishes to participate in Euro 2016 at France and wants to increase his chances of selection.
Despite the interest from the player Italian club’s owner Silvio Berlosconi is yet to approve the transfer and without that, a move is unlikely. Also, it appears that the parent club, Manchester United are not interested in loaning out the player. A permanent move may be considered by AC Milan but considering the £15m price of the Belgian, many think that Italian club will not go that way. Considering these factors a move seems unlikely. Also, the high salary of premier league players are hardly matched in Italian league.
