Louis Van Gaal has not been having an easy time at Manchester United, and so far apart from the Red Devils’ not being in form there are many who ended up misunderstanding the Dutchman. With media playing a vital role it indeed took time to set things right for the Manager, at-least the misunderstanding part.
Van Gaal’s comments regarding German player Bastian Schweinsteiger in December seems to have upset the player. Van Gaal’s comments were regarding him expecting more from the player, which was taken wrongly by many.
While Manchester United’s official website summed it up as the Dutchman thinking very highly of the player, German newspaper Bild said things differently and turned it into an angry outburst which led to a bad mood in the club. Further even Schweinsteiger is said to be upset with the same.
Although Van Gaal’s recent comment in United’s official website may have managed to pour oil in troubled waters.
“However, during December I said that I expect more and he was very disappointed I said that, but I think I can say that because my expectation is higher.”- Louis Van Gaal.
