Manchester United has a disappointing season so far under Louis Van Gaal. While the Dutchman’s future at the Old Trafford is uncertain, he has not stopped looking out for players to add to the squad in the summer.
Swedish TV Viasat got an exclusive interview of the Dutchman, wherein he spoke of the upcoming transfers and his plans through it. Van Gaal explained the changes he had to undertake since he joined the club as there were about six or seven players over the age of 33 and now the entire squad is formed of young players. He further repeated his mantra of needing creative players and faster players.
On asking about Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s move to the United, Dutchman did not rule him out but he did state the age factor to be one hindrance in signing the player. Further the Dutch manager expressed hw impressed he was with the player who can still perform powerfully despite his age.
