SHOCK! Find Out Who Tried To Stop Pedro’s Transfer To Manchester United Or Chelsea

Brazilian international Dani Alves has now revealed in a recent interview how he tried to convince his former team-mate Pedro to snub Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United in favour of staying at Barcelona. The Spaniard joined the Blues this summer though their league rivals Manchester United were considered the firm favourites to bring him to Old Trafford.

Missing out on the 28-year-old was really sad for the Red Devils, after being linked with him for several weeks. Further, chairman Ed Woodward even flew to Barcelona personally to get the deal done, yet it failed to materialize.

However, in an unexpected turn of events the attacker signed a £21m deal to move to Stamford Bridge.

Also, his former team-mate Alves has now said, “I told Pedro he should have stayed at the team but too many people got involved.”

“Had he stayed he would have been happy here, but we don’t make the decisions. If we did I would want him to stay for years.”
