Chelsea legend John Terry’s contract with the club ends in June and as such there has been no news of contract extension for the player in the Blues.
Reports suggest that Terry is one of the top targets for the Chinese Super League clubs and as such many believe that the player will move to China and join Chinese Super League.
The Chinese Side may bag the player at £20m, however there are many suitors for the player and will be willing to spend any amount of money for the player.
According to Sven-Goran Eriksson, the head of Shanghai SIPG, states that the deal between Terry and the Chinese side will materialize in a few months. Eriksson believes that China will improve in quality and popularity in terms of football with Terry playing with them.
Terry will be joining earlier Premier League colleagues the likes of Alex Teixeira, Jackson Martinez and Ezequiel Lavezzi in the future as well as former teammate Ramires in China.
