The main target for the Frenchman is Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich whose wage demands have seen his new contract being stalled at Allianz Arena. The 27-year-old is at the peak of his career and is believed to immediately improve the Arsenal squad upon arrival.
In case the Gunners fail to land the Polish star, the next target is Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid. While the deal may be difficult given that Griezmann has signed a new deal in June, a big offer may make Atletico change their mind.
