It has now been stated that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has cost his club the signings of Morgan Schneiderlin and Son Heung-min, as per what the Secret Footballer has recently revealed. It seems that the anonymous footballer, who writes an online blog, has talked about a meeting that he had with one of Arsenal’s scouts, who blamed the French manager for the lack of summer signings.
The scout reportedly showed the Secret Footballer a report on Spurs star Son, which read that he would have been the perfect player for the Gunners, yet a move was not pushed through by the north London side. The Secret Footballer clearly revealed that the scout said, “It’s Arsene. He’s so indecisive it’s frightening. We had [Morgan] Schneiderlin done and dusted last January and, by the summer, the gaffer had changed his mind. Son was 100 per cent perfect for us.”
Things could have been a bit different if the two players had signed for Arsenal, who are once again struggling with injuries at the moment.
