Scouting For Conte – 3 priority Things Antonio Conte Needs To Take Care At Chelsea asap

Antonio Conte might be looking ahead to Euro 2016 as he wants to end his Italy career on a high, but he won’t have a lot of time to rest as Chelsea will be calling at the start of next season. The former Juventus manager would want to try his hand out in the toughest league in the world and he does have a lot of work inn his hands at the Stamford Bridge club.

Chelsea were the defending champions of the Premier League, but flattered to deceive under Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese was sacked and replaced by Guus Hiddink till the end of the season. The Dutchman has now vacated his position as the manager and Conte will be taking over and hoping to take his side to the top of the tree again.

The Italian will have a lot of work to do at the club and here are his three biggest priorities at the club as he joins.

Get rid of the deadwood

Chelsea have to get rid of a lot of players who are simply taking up wages at the club. Roman might be made of money, but he wouldn’t want to waste it and certain players seem to be enjoying the mega bucks being made at Stamford Bridge.

The likes of Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa and even Eden Hazard could be on their way out and the faster Conte does all this the better it would be for the club. Get rid of the problematic players first and then lay down your plans for next season.

Bring the belief back in the players

The players also looked jaded and drained last season at the club, but with Antonio Conte could bring the belief back into the team. The Italian will not only be taking over a club that finished 10th in the league, but also a team that will have players coming back from Copa America and Euro 2016.

Conte could be the perfect man to get the winning feeling back to the club, like he did for Juventus and led them to Serie A glory. It might not be a quick fix but it certainly has to be high on the agenda of the 46-year-old.

Sign some top talent

Chelsea’s signings last season raised a few eyebrows, while Pedro failed to perform, the likes of Asmir Begovic and even Kenedy couldn’t really do much and the less we talk about Radamel Falcao the better.

Conte has been linked with moves for the likes of Paul Pogba and John Stones already on his list, it won’t be a surprise if the former Juventus manager does sign someone big at the start of next season and build his new Chelsea team around that.
