Scouting For Conte – 2 Ins And 2 Outs At Chelsea That Must Take Place This Summer

Chelsea fans must be extremely pleased by the way Italy played in their win over a much-fancied Belgium side in Euro 2016. The side is managed by Antonio Conte, who is to take charge of the English Premier League side at the start of next season.

Conte, though, might be in the market for a few players since the current Blues squad really isn’t all that good and even when a new manager does come into a club, he will always bring in someone who he trusts.

Chelsea has had a lot of problems regarding player performances and their control behind the scenes and Conte will not be willing to deal with that. There are a few players that could be leaving the club before the start of next season and also a few players that could be brought into the club.

We look at two stars who will leave the club and two who will be brought into the team by the Italian genius.

Players leaving:

Pedro-

The Spanish star was brought into the club to produce a lot of goals, but that did not transpire as he struggled to adjust to the rigours of the Premier League. Pedro left Barcelona after losing out his place in the starting XI but he hasn’t been able to make his place in the Chelsea team a certainty.

The former Barcelona star is just another player in a long line of players who have not performed when played out on the wings. The 28-year-old might not be in the plans as he has already started giving out hints of his desire to leave the club and it should not be a surprise if he is sold by Chelsea in the transfer window.

Loic Remy-

While many think that Diego Costa could be the player leaving Chelsea, his strike partner who barely gets to play games for the Blues could be leaving pretty soon. Loic Remy has not lived up to his expectations, but hasn’t been given chances to play for the London club regularly either.

The French forward could fall down the pecking order with the likes of Patrick Bamford in the side already and Conte does have a history of giving young players a chance or two. Remy does deserve more playing time and this would be the perfect time for him to leave.

Players coming:

N’Golo Kante-

The rumours are getting stronger and so are the quotes from various sources, Kante played a starring role for Leicester City last season and he could be doing the same for the Blues at the start of this season as well.

The 25-year-old was one of the best players in the Premier League last time around and Chelsea would have to pay a bomb to get him to the club, but he is quality and he could turn the midfield around for the London club and make them tough to defeat once again.

Riyad Mahrez-

Kante’s teammate is another star who could make the move away from Leicester City. The Algerian was probably the best attacker in the Premier League last season and Chelsea need someone who can give them the bite in attack.

Eden Hazard is a player who didn’t have the best of seasons under Guus Hiddink and Jose Mourinho and could be sold; only Willian was the one winger that had a decent season for the London club and Conte would want more of an attacking threat next season at the club.

There could be other players who do leave the side but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see at least these two Leicester stars coming in and changing the entire dynamic of the Chelsea team this coming season.
