Ryan Giggs: Manchester United Need To Rotate Players To Keep Everyone Happy

Evergreen Winger Ryan Giggs praised Ferguson of his ability to keep everyone happy at the club. Ferguson has rotated his players throughout the Christmas period to keep everyone busy and happy. David de Gea, Patrice Evra, Jonny Evans and Michael Carrick are the only players started each of last four league games.

Following the 4-0 win at Wigan on Tuesday Ferguson suggested there will be further changes for the Cup tie at Upton Park, hinting that Japan midfielder Shinji Kagawa could be set for a second start since returning from two months out with a knee injury.

Giggs: Rotation policy is key to our success!

Giggs, 39, who has been reduced to a supporting role this season said,

“Our rotation policy is the key to the success”

“We have a big squad and no one is going to play every game.

“The likes of me and Scholes probably play fewer matches than a lot of the players but we know we have to be ready when we’re called upon.

“My role in the team has changed over the last five or six years. I’m an experienced player and a kind of elder statesman and it’s a position I’m quite comfortable with regard to helping the young players.

“I’m not starting as many games but it’s about being ready when I do.”
