Robinho To Stay At Milan, No Negotiations For Balotelli

Shareholder of Media-set and owner of A.C. Milan Silvio Berlusconi gave an interview when he was at Milanello earlier yesterday. He talked about the ongoing Robinho and Mario Balotelli situations in detail

“Mario Balotelli? I was misinterpreted. I don’t dream about Balotelli.
There are no negotiations going on with Manchester City regarding Balotelli. He is too expensive, and we can’t make these expensive signings anymore.”

“My wish is that Robinho stays with us. I like him a lot as a player and as a person. He’s a great player with a wonderful technique. I speak with him often. He has said things to me that make me think that he could change his mind and stay at Milan.”

“Tomorrow against Torino, we will be without three important players (Boateng, Constant and Montolivo) and Allegri will inform me of possible replacements.
The team that faced Zenit played a great game and were unlucky to concede with the only shot Zenit had.”

“Who I want to face in the next round of the Champions League? The better the opponent is, the better Milan play. Whatever opponent we draw will make no difference.
We would like to face a big club, because this Milan becomes great against the great sides.
When we play against a smaller team, they always fight hard and we’re used to teams putting in powerful performances against us.
I think the team are bouncing back in Serie A. We’re right behind the top group.”

“Antonio Conte? I don’t know exactly what his situation is. But it wouldn’t be a surprise if he also got persecuted by the court.”

“When the real Pato will return? We’re all asking ourselves when he will return. He’s asking that himself. He gets up every morning, looks himself in the mirror and says “who are you?” All jokes aside. I’m following the situation closely and I’m worried – just like Pato himself is worried”, concluded Silvio Berlusconi.

Milan CEO and vice-president, Adriano Galliani, was also asked about Mario Balotelli.

“Balotelli? I often speak with Raiola (Balotelli’s agent). He always goes around with his art pieces, and we’re art collectors…”

“The visit from Guangzhou Evergrande is just a courtesy visit. We haven’t got any business going on with them”, declared Galliani.

A delegation from Guangzhou Evergrande, including president Liu Yongzhou, are currently in Milano. They will attend the match between Torino and Milan. On Tuesday or Wednesday (11-12 Dec.) they will visit Milanello.
