Bayern Munich’s champions league clash with Lille will be more than just a game for Franck Ribery as he is coming back there after Lille ditched him 13 years ago. Lille ditched him because of some bad behavior complaints.
Ribery: I don’t regret leaving LilleWhen asked about that in a press conference, Ribery said,
“I was not ditched from the club because of bad behavior. There was just one problem at school,when I accidentally broke a girl’s elbow,”
“That was when I got fired. But they already wanted to dump me well before because they thought I was too little to play football.”
“Even now, when I read some comments by Lille about me, I read many untrue things,”
“Anyway I don’t regret leaving Lille because right now I am playing for one of the best clubs in Europe.”
Leaving these emotional battles side, it will be important match for both sides as Bayern already lost once in this year’s competition and Lille lies at the bottom of the table without any points.
