The Merseyside club are rumoured to have tabled a €30 million bid for the striker which was rejected by Inter because they did not have any replacements in sight. The club’s failure to sign Alex Teixeira forced the club to look at other options to solve the club’s woes in front of the goal and Icardi suits the profile having showcased his abilities in Italy. With the Brazilian now heavily linked with a big-money move to China, Liverpool could be in the market for Icardi in the coming transfer window.
