According to French broadcaster Le 10 Sport, Arsenal are secretly plotting a move to sign AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy.
Reportedly, The 20-year-old trickster is unsettled under AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri (this season) and it is believed that he is ready to risk a move away from the San Siro club in order to get more game time. These reports also suggest that Arsenal are very close to agreeing a £25m fee with AC Milan for the signature of El Shaarawy .
Last season, El Shaarawy took the Serie A by storm scoring 19 goals. But in this campaign, he was forced to play a second-fiddle role as the manager prefers Robinho, Mario Balotelli and Alessandro Matri ahead of El Shaarawy in the starting lineup. With the World cup coming soon, he would want to get as much of game time under his belt as possible. So, it is highly possible that he may leave AC Milan in the January window.
Arsenal are ready to take advantage of the situation. But they are not the only interested club involved in this transfer saga. Chelsea and Liverpool are also very keen on signing the rising star from AC Milan.
