Chelsea Ban Player Banters to Improve Performances

It is being suggested by The Telegraph that Premier League champions Chelsea have banned all player banter, as they look to recover from their worst start to a league campaign since 1988. The Blues have lost three of the first five games of the season, yet put in a superb performance in their Champions League opener last evening.

Manager Jose Mourinho is under a lot of pressure, as they look to defend their crown this term and the players have all agreed that jokes should be thrown out the window till results improve. Though it was not exactly a laugh riot at the Cobham before to this rule being agreed upon, yet some would suggest the instant can be seen now.

The atmosphere had become quite negative after the incident with the medical staff, which left some players angry at Mourinho’s treatment of Eva Carneiro. Known for ruthless nature to succeed, Mourinho over-reacted it can be said, yet now the club has to move on.

TalkSPORT pundit Stan Collymore had further added that John Terry had fallen out with Diego Costa and that the Chelsea boss had fought with both. Well, at least Costa put in a superb performance at the Bridge and things looked good.
