Reports From Italy Reveals Chelsea’s First Attacking Target For The Summer Window

Guillem Balague has revealed Chelsea’s plans for the upcoming transfer window and the Blues fans will be delighted with the news he has for them. The Spanish football  expert has claimed that Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain is the number one target for the new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte. The London club have been short of firepower at the top and the addition of Higuain will add a lot of attacking threat. The Argentine is also keen on a move since a chance to move to Chelsea allows him to ply his trade in one of the toughest leagues in the world.

The move, which is believed to be in the range of £38 million, will possibly see Diego Costa leave Stamford Bridge, with Atletico Madrid being the first choice for the Spaniard. Diego Simeone is a big fan of Costa and has made it clear to the hierarchy at Atletico that if there is one player he wants to sign this season, its Diego Costa.

However, given the financial involved, it will be tough for Atletico to chalk out a deal for the Spaniard since a lot clubs will have a better financial offer on the table.
